HMD Global’s Nokia is reportedly planning to add a new smartphone to its 5G phone lineup in 2021. The company recently launched the Nokia X10 5G and Nokia X20 5G smartphones and is now working on another 5G phone. According to a report from Nokiapoweruser, the phone will replace the Nokia 8.3 5G and has been in the works for some time.

It is expected that the upcoming Nokia cell phone will feature a penta camera design. The phone’s camera system can consist of a 108 megapixel primary camera paired with other sensors such as ultra-wide, depth, macro, and telephoto. The smartphone is said to have Zeiss optics.
The handset is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 processor. Similar to its successor, the device can be equipped with OZO Audio Tech.
Another expected feature of the upcoming Nokia cell phone is the 6.5-inch QHD + display PureView Display V4. The smartphone display may have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
On the front of the battery, the handset should have a battery capacity of 6000 mAh. The new Nokia phone may support 22 watt fast charging.
The report suggests that Nokia will launch the new smartphone in the second half of 2021. Although it is expected to be a successor to Nokia 8.3 5G, it may have a new name. It could start as a Nokia X50 or something similar, the report adds.
