NEW DELHI: Earlier this year it was reported that Samsung will launch an affordable foldable smartphone. The smartphone, which will likely be called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Lite, should hit the market along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.
However, a new online report suggests that you’ll have to wait a little longer for an affordable foldable smartphone. As reported by SamMobileSamsung will be releasing the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 later this year, and you’ll have to wait longer for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Lite.
The report adds that the company may launch the smartphone in the future, but not now.
The report also suggests the company may be working on a two-fold Galaxy smartphone. This new model is expected to be released at the end of this year.
A previous online report found that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip2 smartphones in the third quarter of this year.
If so, it would be Samsung’s second smartphone not launching this year. The company recently announced that it would not launch a new Galaxy Note series smartphone this year.
During Samsung’s 52nd Annual General Meeting DJ Koh, Co-CEO of Samsung IT and Mobile communication The division has confirmed that it will be difficult for the company to bring out the new Galaxy Note 21 series this year.
Koh added that the reason for this is the lack of chips and the conflict with existing products. Samsung introduced this earlier this year Galaxy S21 Ultra which comes with S Pen support.
Koh also mentioned that the company is not getting rid of the Galaxy Note series and that Samsung will develop the Galaxy Note 22 series.
