Apple introduced a new firmware update for second generation AirPods and AirPods Pro Models.
The latest update – with firmware version 3E751 – comes almost six months after the last update for firmware version 3A283 was released in September.
Apple didn’t list any release notes for the update, so it’s not clear what’s new in this update.
AirPods users need to note that there is no manual way to update the device as the firmware update is installed automatically when the AirPods are connected to the via Bluetooth iPhone.
Users can check the AirPods firmware version by going to Settings app> Bluetooth> AirPods> ‘i’ icon> Firmware Version.
Earlier this week, Apple released a new software update for iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watch and Apple TV around the world.
