Apple launches new iPad Pro with Liquid Retina XDR display: technical data, functions

After the introduction of the M1 processor in the MacBook last year Apple launched a brand new iPad Pro with the same processor. The new iPad Pro is available in two screen sizes – 11 “and 12.9”. With the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, Apple also introduced the new Liquid Retina XDR display. In addition, the iPad Pro receives 5G connectivity for the first time.

The new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space gray. The iPad Pro is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations.
The 11-inch iPad Pro costs from Rs 71,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 85,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 99,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 1,13,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
Apple iPad Pro: Technical Specifications
The M1 chip in the iPad brings the 8 core Central processor Design with up to 50 percent faster CPU performance than A12Z Bionic. The 8-core delivers up to 40 percent faster GPU Performance. Apple claims that the M1 chip will also increase the battery life of the iPad Pro.
The new Liquid Retina XDR display brings the performance of the Pro Display XDR to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The Liquid Retina XDR display has been developed with a new mini LED design that uses over 10,000 LEDs on the entire back of the display. It offers up to 1000 nits of full screen brightness, 1600 nits of peak brightness and a phenomenal 1 million to -1 contrast ratio to improve creative workflows.
The new Liquid Retina XDR display incorporates other advanced technologies found in the 11-inch iPad Pro, including ProMotion, True Tone and P3 color support.
For the first time, the iPad Pro also supports Thunderbolt and USB 4.
Apple iPad Pro: camera Specifications
The TrueDepth camera system on the iPad Pro features a brand new 12MP ultra wide front camera specially designed for the iPad that enables Center Stage, a new experience for video calling. In the centre uses the much larger field of view of the new front camera and the machine learning functions of M1 to recognize users and center them in the frame.
The Magic Keyboard of the iPad Pro has a new white color variant.
