Asus ROG Phone 5 can be pre-ordered on Flipkart at 12 noon. The smartphone should go on sale today, but it will go on sale on April 16. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5 nm 5G chipset and has a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The next generation ROG gaming smartphone costs from Rs 49,999. The basic variant of the phone offers 8 GB R.A.M. and 128 GB of storage. There is another model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 57,999.
Asus ROG Phone 5: Technical Specifications
Asus ROG phone 5 has a 6.78-inch custom AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz. The phone’s display has a layer of Corning Gorilla Victus and HDR10 + content support on top.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5 nm 5 G chipset with 2.84 GHz. The handset has up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and is equipped with up to 256 GB UFS 3.1 memory.
The device has a 3D steam chamber and Aero Active cooling Fan 5 to regulate the temperature during the game. Asus says it can deliver up to 15 degrees lower surface temperature and up to 10 degrees CPU temperature.
The smartphone has a 6,000 mAh battery with a 65 watt charging adapter. The phone has a charging port on the side. Another feature of the Asus ROG Phone 5 is that it comes with updated AirTrigger buttons to enhance the gaming experience on the phone.
The handset is equipped with two front speakers to provide a stereo sound experience. Asus reintroduced the 3.5mm headphone jack with ROG Phone 5
