NEW DELHI: One of the biggest tech events is expected to return again in a personal format. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 will return to Las Vegas in a personal format following this year’s fully digital format.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) confirmed that next year CES will be held in person in Las Vegas as coronavirus restrictions ease in the US.
The event takes place from January 5th to 8th, while the media days take place from January 3rd to 4th.
More than 1000 companies will take part in the event. These companies include Amazon, AMD, AT&T, Daimler AG, Dell, Google, Hyundai, IBM, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Samsung and Sony.
The Consumer Technology Association also announced that users will also be able to attend the event digitally. CTA also mentioned that plans for the event will depend on coronavirus safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the association, said in a press release: “We are delighted to return to Las Vegas – the home of CES for more than 40 years – and look forward to many new and returning faces. Hundreds of executives have us said how much they need CES to meet new and existing customers, find partners, reach the media and discover innovations. ”
