Own brand for consumer electronics Daiwa announced its new line of 126 cm (50 inch) 4K Smart TV ‘D50162FL’ with a frameless design. The television will cost 39,990 rupees and will be available in leading retail stores in India.
Daiwa claims to have scaled down the bezels to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 96% and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The 4K Ultra HD television with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels is equipped with Quantum Luminit technology with 1.07 billion colors and HDR10.
The smart TV has 20 W box speakers with 5 sound modes and DBX TV audio technology for a surround sound experience. Image modes such as cricket mode and cinema mode use a combination of optimized brightness.
The smart TV is supported by Cloud TV-certified AOSP and has Daiwa’s own ‘The BigWall’ user interface – with more than 25,000,000 hours of content with several official streaming apps as well as a film box. It also has its own content discovery engine – a universal search to find shows / movies in the app library. Users can also live stream messages from messaging apps available on the BigWall or across multiple apps. The smart TV (from next month) will receive a voice support function that enables command-based search and functions via the microphone.
The Smart TV runs on the Android 9.0 version and the A-55 quad-core processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. For connectivity, the TV comes with 3 HDMI Connections, 2 USB, Wi-Fi, 1 optical output, ethernet, 2AV In and 1 headphone jack. It also comes with E-Share for screen mirroring and using your smartphone as an air mouse. Bluetooth technology enables viewers to connect their wireless headphones and music systems to the TV.
