Social Media technology giant Facebook has introduced new features for both Facebook and Facebook Instagram that, according to the company, “helps you express yourself better, find what you need, and stay connected.”
First, support for archiving swipe was introduced delivery boy, along with a new folder for archived chats on mobile devices. Users can tap their profile picture and select Archived Chats to see a full list of archived threads.
Next, two chat topics were introduced in Messenger and Instagram – Star Wars and Selena: The Series.
New camera stickers are now also supported on the messenger platform, with which the diversity and impact of the Asian and Pacific islanders (API) are to be recognized.
Finally, Messenger users can work hands-free with Tap-to-Record on Messenger. Users no longer need to hold down the microphone. Tap to record to record audio messages for easier access.
When it comes to Instagram, the platform can now see if their friends have seen their messages with the “Inbox” status feature. You can see a snippet of text confirming that the person you sent the message to saw it.
The company also adds the option to send a visual response in Instagram DMs on iOS with a different photo or video. It comes to Android Soon the company confirmed.
