Samsung’s true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Pro, have received a new update that, according to a report from PhoneArena, adds the “Double-Tap Earbud Edge” feature. The peculiarity was a long time coming because it was present in the other Galaxy Buds Model, except the Pro.
With this feature, Galaxy Pro earbud users only need to double-tap the top of the left earbud to decrease the volume. To turn up the volume, they have to do the same, but on the right earbud. With the update, users can also assign different tasks to the double and triple tap function. The Galaxy Buds Pro The update was launched in South Korea and it may take some time to reach other users around the world.
Plus, with the new update, all you have to do is long-press the earbuds to toggle the noise control mode on or off. One improvement that is expected as part of the update affects the performance of the earbuds in the ANC Mode.
Samsung claims that the ANC on the Galaxy Buds Pro “filters out up to 99% of background noise”. with the help of its “intelligent algorithm that suppresses the noise”. It appears that the claim may not be exactly what ANC is performing and the company is trying to improve the ANC with the update.
