Internet search giant Google has to be with the introduction of a new software update for Web browser – – Google Chrome – bring it to version 91.
The company has released Chrome 91 on the stable channel for Windows, Mac and Linux along with Chrome 91 (91.0.4472.77) for Android. Both new versions are expected to be rolled out in the coming days or weeks.
This new latest version of Google Chrome includes a number of fixes and improvements.
In terms of new features, Google Chrome version 91 has some improvements.
With this update, the collapsed tab groups take up less space and freeze pages to free up space. This excludes tabs playing audio, holding a web or IndexedDB lock, recording video, audio, window or display.
In addition, PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) can be started automatically when users log into their operating system / account. Android apps for Chrome on tablets now request the desktop versions of websites instead of the mobile version if the screen is big enough. However, the phone version is still requested for smaller tablets.
Chrome 91 for iOS warns users if they enter saved passwords on a known phishing site.
As part of design improvements, Google Chrome version 91 includes new check boxes, text boxes, buttons, selection menus, and other form controls.
The 91 version of Google Chrome also contains a number of security flaws. Of the total of 32 security vulnerabilities, eight were rated “high”.
