HMD Global officially revised that Android 11 rollout plan for his Nokia Smartphones that postpone the deadlines for most smartphones.
Many handsets from Q1 and Q2 were pushed back into the later quarters. For example, the Nokia 6.2, 7.2, and 9 Pureview are now expected to receive the Android 11 update in the third quarter of 2021.
The new timeline now suggests Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 get the Android 11 update somewhere between Q1 and Q2, while Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 9 Pureview will only receive the update in the second quarter.
The company hasn’t given an explanation as to why the timeline has been redesigned, but it doesn’t look good for the brand’s phones as an inventory Android OS Regular updates are the main features of the smartphone product range.
This month Google to talk about the next Android operating system update, Android 12, on Google I / O. However, the rollout will begin later this year with the launch of Pixel phones.
