Halide, one of the most popular camera apps on the iPhone, has launched on the iPad also. The iPadOS Version of the camera App has been redesigned with the larger screen of the iPad in mind. So, Halide There’s a new user interface for iPadOS with a new Pro View option to make it easier to take pictures on your iPad.
According to the company, you’ll have to tap the shrink icon in the lower left and the viewfinder will shrink to a smaller size to assess the composition. With the space left over, you can use the pro tools in the app like the color waveform and histogram, manual focus, or even manual shutter and ISO controls. The user interfaces do not cover the picture at all and you can view your compositions in a smaller size on the iPad.
The app has intuitive gestures like new Edge gestures for switching between modes. The app has a tactile touch function that allows you to activate and deactivate focus and exposure aids as required. There are also three new custom fonts. With the iPadOS Halide appIt is possible to assign the entire user interface to either the left or the right side of the display.
The developers say they “have placed critical controls on the left and right edges so you can type with your thumbs without losing your grip. You can use the new honeycomb surface to control it right next to the shutter release. ”
With a file size of 19.7 MB, the app requires iPadOS 13.0 or higher on the iPad and on the iPhone and the iPod touch, it requires iOS 13.0 or higher. The app offers a free 7-day trial for annual memberships.
