Chinese smartphone brand Itel has launched an entry-level smartphone – called Itel A23 Pro – in India in partnership with the telecommunications company Reliance Jio. The main highlight of the smartphone is its price and its 4G connectivity.
Itel A23 Pro price, launch offer and availability
The smartphone was launched in a single memory variant with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage for Jio users for 3,899 rupees.
As part of this offering, data connectivity will be available on the Jio network. Itel A23 Pro customers at Jio are entitled to benefits worth Rs 3,000, including partner vouchers for select prepaid top-ups of Rs 249 and more. This offer applies to both new and existing Jio subscribers.
The handset will go on sale from June 1 until June Reliance Digital Stores, MyJio Stores, Reliancedigital.in and other retail stores.
Itel A23 Pro specifications
The Itel A23 Pro smartphone runs on Android 10.0 (Go Edition) as standard and offers a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.
The Itel A23 Pro smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832E processor. On the memory side, the device offers 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card up to 32GB.
For imaging tasks, the Itel A23 Pro has a 2-megapixel rear-view camera and a VGA selfie camera on the front. The camera has a beauty mode.
The Itel A23 Pro is powered by a 2400 mAh battery and offers dual SIM support, one of which must be a Jio SIM card. For security reasons, the handset comes with Smart Face Unlock support.
The Itel A23 Pro features a gradient back design and comes in two color options – Sapphire Blue and Lake Blue.
