Oppo A53 reportedly receives a price cut of up to Rs 2,500

Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has reportedly cut the price of its budget smartphone – Oppo A53 – in India. The handset was launched last August in two memory variants with 64 GB and 128 GB in India for Rs 12,990 and Rs 15,490 respectively. The price for both variants has been reduced by up to Rs 2,500.
The drop in prices was reported via a tweet from Mumbai-based offline retailer Mahesh Telecom. The new prices of the variant are currently not reflected in online retail portals such as Amazon and Flipkart.
Oppo A53 new price
After the price reduction, the basic version of the Oppo A53 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage costs Rs 10,990 after a price reduction of Rs 2,000. The second storage variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage is now for Rs 12,990 after a price reduction of Rs 2,500 sold.
Oppo A53: Technical Specifications
The Oppo A53 is available in three color options: Fairy White, Electric Black and Fancy Blue. It has a 6.4-inch HD + screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720p and a refresh rate of 90 Hz with a punch-hole selfie camera.
The Oppo A53 smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. It also offers 256GB microSD card support.
For imaging tasks, the Oppo A53 has a triple camera on the back of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth camera. On the front, users get a 16MP sensor.
The Oppo A53 is supported by a 5000 mAh battery and runs under ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
