NEW DELHI: It seems that smartphone manufacturers Oppo is ready to launch its new A-series smartphone in India soon. According to a tipster, Oppo will be the Oppo A74 5G in India this month.
Tipper Abishek Yadav announced in a tweet that Oppo will launch the Oppo A74 5G smartphone in India later this month. He added that the company will cost the smartphone under Rs 20,000.
The company has already launched the smartphone in Thailand and is expected to launch the same variant in India.
Oppo A74 5G expected specifications
The Android 11 operating system, which is equipped with the company’s own ColorOS 11.1 layer, will run on the Oppo A74 5G. The smartphone should contain a 6.5-inch full HD + display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The Oppo A74 5G is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The smartphone should contain 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The Oppo A74 5G is said to have a quad rear camera with a 48MP main sensor with 1: 1.7 aperture, 2MP macro, 2MP depth and 8MP ultra wide-angle lens. The smartphone should have an 8-megapixel camera for selfies on the front.
The smartphone is to be supported by a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging function.
Recently, Oppo started rolling out the Android 11 update for its Reno2 Z smartphone in India. The company is rolling out the update in batches and you can manually check for the update by going to Settings> Software Updates.
With the Android 11 update, Oppo Reno2 Z users can enjoy features like standard screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time authorization for apps, security fixes via Google Play and others. Along with this, the smartphone will also receive ColorOS 11 update.
