Oppo has expanded its A-series smartphone range. The company has launched Oppo A74 and Oppo A74 5G Phones in select Southeast Asian countries. The duo is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipsets and are supported by a 5000mAh battery.
Price and availability
The 4G variant of the Oppo A74 was introduced in Cambodia and the Philippines. While the price of the device is not yet known in the Cambodian market, the price in the Philippines is PHP 11,999 (around Rs 18,000). The handset is available as a single storage version. It offers 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
While the Oppo A74 5G is listed at THB 8,999 (around Rs21,000) in Thailand. It also packs 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The color variants of the Oppo A74 5G include Fluid Black and Space Silver. While the 4G model of the Oppo A74 is available in Midnight Blue and Prism Black.
Both smartphones are equipped with 5000mAh batteries and run under ColorOS based on Android 11. While the Oppo A74 4G is equipped with a 6.43-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, the 5G variant has a 6.5-inch display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Oppo A74 4G is operated by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. The 5G model, on the other hand, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The duo contains 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the front of the camera, the Oppo A74 4G has a triple camera system on the back. It has a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
The 5G variant is equipped with a quad camera setup and has an additional 8MP sensor on the back. Both the Oppo A74 4G and Oppo A74 5G phones have a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
