NEW DELHI: Smartphone manufacturer Oppo recently launched its latest Oppo Reno6 series smartphones and Enco Free2 true wireless earbuds in China. Now the company has confirmed that it will launch a new smartwatch.
Oppo announced that it is the Oppo Watch 2 series Smartwatch. The teaser image shared by the company confirms that the smartwatch comes with a square dial. The company has also confirmed that it has partnered with Ambiq for the Apollo 4 low-power chip, which promises long battery life for the device.
According to a tipster in China, the upcoming Smartwatch from Oppo will come in 46mm size. The smartwatch is expected to offer Dusty Gray, Mine Shaft and Steel Blue color options.
The tipster also suggested that the wearable is likely to be operated by Qualcomm Wearing snapdragons 4100 processor coupled with 16 GB of internal memory. The upcoming smartwatch is also expected to run Google’s Wear OS.
The device is to be delivered with new dials, stress detection and the Oppo Relax app. The new Oppo Watch 2 is expected to be launched in the second half of the year.
On the other hand, a new online report revealed that Oppo is working on the successor to the watch and has already filed a trademark application for the watch name.
A new trademark application filed by Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunication Corp. Ltd. with the European Union Intellectual Property Office revealed that the next watch among the Oppo Watch range will be and likely Oppo Watch, according to a report on the LetsGo Digital website Will be called Free.
