Acer has announced several additions to its gaming portfolio with new Predator notebooks. The whole new one Predator Triton 500 SE and the Predator Helios 500 The notebooks have been updated to include up to the new 11th generation Intel Core i9 processors and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series laptop GPUs, as well as features such as Acer’s 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fan technology for better cooling, DTS : X Ultra Audio and Intel® Killer E3100 Ethernet Controllers, Intel Killer ™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650, and PredatorSense device management software.

Predator Triton 500 SE Gaming Notebook
The Predator Triton 500 SE (PT516-51s) is a “special edition” notebook for gamers looking for a machine that can withstand the latest AAA games as well as the workday, says Acer. The notebook is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i9 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU and up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory at 3200 MHz. It’s about 19.9mm thin and, according to Acer, offers up to 12 hours of battery life.
The Predator Triton 500 SE has a 16-inch, 16:10 display with a screen-to-body ratio of 87% and offers three control panel options, including a 165 Hz WQXGA LCD display. a 165 Hz WQXGA mini LED panel with 1250 peak nits and 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut; or a 240 Hz WQXGA IPS PolarBlack panel with a response time of 3 ms and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The notebook has USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports that support DisplayPort and an SD 7.0 card reader.

The Predator Helios 500 (PH517-52) has an overclockable 11th generation Intel Core i9 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU and 64 GB DDR4 memory with 3200 MHz. Depending on their requirements, users can equip the 17.3-inch Helios 500 with a 4K Mini LED 120 Hz display with AUO AmLED technology, which supports local dimming with full array and with the VESA display HDR 1000 or the FHD 360 Hz AUO display with a response time of 3 ms is comparable.
