Xiaomi teased the start Redmi note 8 (2021) recently. The smartphone is now official and listed on the company’s official website. While the listing does not indicate the price of the phone, it does detail the features of Redmi Note 8 (2021).

The Redmi Note 8 (2021) is equipped with a 6.3-inch FHD + dot drop display. The screen has a pixel resolution of 2340 x 1080 and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The smartphone has a reading mode, a sunlight display and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The handset is being supplied with power MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with up to 2.0 GHz Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. It contains 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers up to 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It has two memory models – 64 GB and 128 GB.
As for the camera, the smartphone has a quad lens camera on the back. The phone has a 48-megapixel main camera (f / 1.79 aperture), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f / 2.2 aperture), and a 2-megapixel macro camera (f / 2.4 aperture ) and a 2-megapixel depth camera (f / 2.4 aperture).

The phone supports 18 watt fast charging. For security reasons, it offers an AI face unlock and a fingerprint scanner mounted on the back.
