Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand has launched its first smartwatch in India. Simply named Redmi smartwatchThe device has an LCD touch display and offers over 200 dials. Health features available on the smartwatch include heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and guided breathing.
Redmi Smartwatch costs Rs 3,999. It will be available on Flipkart, Mi Home and Mi.com website starting May 25th. The device is supplied with four types of ribbon. These include ivory, black, blue, olive.
Redmi Smartwatch: Technical Specifications
The smartwatch has a 3.56 cm (1.4 inch) full-touch LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and an automatic brightness function. It comes with a layer of 2.5D curved glass.
The watch has built-in GPS / GLONASS support for outdoor tracking. It is equipped with bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity.
The Redmi Smartwatch comes with a square dial encapsulated between removable silicone bands. There is also a button on the right. To charge the device, the watch must be placed on the charger. It takes up to 2 hours to fully charge. Xiaomi claims that the smartwatch can last up to 10 days on a single charge.
The device has a swim-proof design and is water-resistant to 5 ATM. The sensors of the smartwatch include a PPG heart rate sensor, a triaxial accelerometer, a geomagnetic sensor, a barometer, a gyroscope and an ambient light sensor.
It is equipped with 11 exercise modes including trail running, hiking, hiking, indoor cycling, swimming, and more. It can also track daily activities like steps, calories burned, and more. Heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring and guided breathing are other functions of the smartwatch.
