In the 15-second TV commercials, the cameras of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G are compared with those of the top-class Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The first ad compares photos of a cheese sandwich allegedly taken by Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro Max cameras. No surprise, the image captured by the Galaxy S21 Ultra seems to offer significantly more detail and a clear image. In the ad, Samsung says its camera is providing “crisp detail” while asking viewers if Apple’s camera is capturing a “detailed enough” picture. The ad ends with the line: “Upgrade to epic details.”
The second ad has Moon as the subject and shows the telephony functions of both top-end phones. The image aims to compare the digital 100x room zoom of the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G with the maximum 12x digital zoom of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The advertisement labels the moon image of the S21 Ultra 5G with “Zoom in 100x”. For the iPhone’s image of the moon, viewers are asked to decide whether it is “close enough” at all. The ad ends with the line: “Upgrade to Epic Zoom”.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G earlier this year. It’s the top-of-the-line smartphone in Samsung’s 2021 Galaxy range and costs 105,999 rupees. The smartphone has a 108 MP wide camera, 12 MP Ultra Wide, 10 M Telephoto (3x), 10M Telephoto (10x) and a maximum zoom of up to 100x. There is a 40 megapixel camera on the front.
