Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Leaked, Reveals Processor, Model Number, and More

Recently, SamMobile discovered the smartphone in the Geekbench list with the model number SM-A226B, which reveals some important details about the upcoming smartphone. According to the listing, the smartphone is operated with MediaTek Dimensity 700S0C (MT6833V) and has 6 GB of RAM. We can expect to see other RAM options too.

The rumor mill was thrilled with the launch of the upcoming affordable 5G smartphone from Samsung. The Galaxy A22 5G has been discovered in leaks several times and thanks to all the rumors and benchmark lists we know many details about the smartphone. The smartphone’s image rendering leaked a while ago and confirms the triple rear camera setup on the back and a similar design to the Galaxy M62.

According to the listing, the smartphone is supplied with power MediaTek Dimension 700S0C (MT6833V) and has 6 GB of RAM. We can expect to see others R.A.M. Options too.
That being said, the alleged Galaxy A22 will run Android 11 right away under the Samsung One UI custom interface.
In terms of the Geekbench results, the smartphone scored 562 points in the single-core test and 1,755 points in the multi-core test. The result clearly shows a lower mid-range smartphone with decent performance.
Samsung Galaxy A22: Expected specifications
Based on the previous leaks and rumors, the Galaxy A22 will have a triple rear camera. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. It could potentially come with 6GB of RAM and we can expect to see an expandable storage option with the phone.
That being said, it is speculated that the smartphone will hit the market below the 15,000 rupee price bracket sometime in the second half of 2021.
