NEW DELHI: Giant in consumer electronics Samsung recently launched its Galaxy A52 smartphone in India. Now the company seems ready to launch its 5G variant in the country. According to a report from Sammobile, Samsung has started work on firmware development for a 5G version of the Galaxy A52.
The 5G variant of the smartphone is equipped with the model number SM-A526B. According to the report, the 5G variant of Samsung Galaxy A52 is priced at Rs 5,000 more. The 4G variant of the Samsung Galaxy A52 has a price of Rs 26,499. So there is a possibility that the 5G variant will cost around Rs 31,499.
The report adds that the 5G variant of the smartphone is expected to feature a higher refresh rate display, better chipset, and improved wireless connectivity.
Samsung has already introduced the 5G variant of the Galaxy A52 in the US. The company is expected to bring the same variant to India.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone offers a 6.5-inch FHD + sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
It is IP68 rated and has a quad camera setup with 64MP main sensor, 12MP ultra wide angle lens, 5MP bokeh sensor and 5MP macro sensor.
The smartphone has a 32MP front sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charge support.
Samsung recently launched the 5G variant of its Samsung Galaxy S20 FE smartphone, which was introduced last year, in India. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 47,999.
The smartphone is operated with the octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and runs with the Android 11 operating system, which is equipped with the company’s own level of the One UI.
