Smartphone major Samsung will launch its first Galaxy M-series 5G phone in India today. The company will announce Samsung Galaxy M42 5G at 12 o’clock.
The company teases the smartphone online with the slogan “Fastest Monster”. Online trading platform Amazon has created a microsite of the upcoming phone indicating the availability of the phone through Amazon in the country.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G: What To Expect
According to the Amazon listing page, the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile processor. It comes with the company’s Knox security defense system, as well as features like AltZLife and content suggestion.
The smartphone will also be equipped with Samsung Pay to make online payments easier. In the images shared on the Amazon website, a quad camera sensor can be seen on the back of the phone. Rumor has it that the phone may have a 64-megapixel main camera.
While a pinhole camera can be seen in front. It is expected that there will be a 32MP selfie camera. The Android 11 operating system, which is equipped with the company’s own One UI 3 layer, is expected to run on the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G.
Online reports suggest that the smartphone may contain a 6,000 mAh battery. The handset is said to be available in three color options – blue, black and white.
