NEW DELHI: Earlier this month it was reported that Samsung plans to discontinue production of Exynos powered Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
It has been reported that Samsung plans to release the Snapdragon 865 version of the smartphone and will stop manufacturing the Exynos 990 Galaxy S20 FE.
The South Korean tech giant has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with a Snapdragon 865 processor. The company’s Swedish website has listed the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant of the smartphone Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Processor.
Previously, the Snapdragon 865 powered Galaxy S20 FE was limited to the 5G version of the smartphone, and the 4G variant came with Exynos 990 powered by the Galaxy S20 series smartphones launched last year.
This new 4G model of the smartphone with Snapdragon 865 is said to have a price of 630 euros. This new smartphone variant has similar specifications as the earlier variant of the handset.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a 6.5-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The smartphone’s Infinity O display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The smartphone is available in two versions: 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage as well as 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. Users can expand storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
The Android 11 operating system, which is equipped with Samsung’s own user interface, runs on the smartphone. The handset has a triple rear camera with 12MP main sensor with LED flash, f / 1.8 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with f / 2.4 aperture and 12MP ultra wide angle lens with f / 2.2 aperture. There is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with a f / 2.0 aperture on the front.
The waterproof smartphone is equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor. It is supported by a 4500 mAh battery with 25 W fast charge and wireless PowerShare function.
