INNEUES DELHI: Japanese smartphone manufacturer Sony launched the newest phone in the Xperia Ace series of smartphones in Japan. The company launched the Sony Xperia Ace II, the successor to the Xperia Ace smartphone launched last year.
Like its predecessor, the smartphone has a compact form factor and a Full HD + display. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor and runs on the Android 11 operating system.
It is equipped with IPX5 and IPX8 degrees of protection, which makes it dust and waterproof. The company has valued the Sony Ace II at 22,000 yen (Rs 14,800) and it is available in black, white, and blue. The company has yet to reveal the availability details of the smartphone.
Sony Xperia Ace II specifications
The Sony Xperia Ace II has a 5.5-inch HD + display with a resolution of 720 x 1496 pixels. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor.
The Sony Xperia Ace II offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Users can expand storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 11 and offers dual SIM support.
The Sony Xperia Ace II has a dual rear camera with 13MP main sensor with f / 2.0 aperture and 2MP depth sensor with f / 2.4 aperture. There is an 8 megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
The handset is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is supported by a 4500 mAh battery with quick charge function.
