NEW DELHI: Facebook property Instagram brought to life roll – his TikTok rival – last year. Instagram Reels allows you to create short music video formats such as those found on TikTok. You can also record and edit 15-second video clips. You can also set the music of your choice in the clip. You can also use audio from other users’ videos, similar to TikTok.
Now it seems that Instagram will soon be introducing a new feature in Reels to keep TikTok a tough competition. According to Android and iOS developer Alessandro Paluzzi, Instagram is considering offering Reel users cash bonuses.
Paluzzi was looking for some back-end code when he found this upcoming feature. He also shared a screenshot of it on Twitter.
According to the shared screenshot, Instagram users are reportedly being asked to share their favorite roles. After that, they would have to reach a certain milestone after which they would start making money. However, the overall criteria for making money are not yet known.
This is not the first time that a social media platform has offered cash benefits in return. Last year, Snapchat also started offering the most entertaining clips on the platform for $ 1 million a day.
That said, YouTube recently announced “Shorts Funds,” a $ 100 million prize pool to be given out to YouTube shorts Creator.
Recently, Instagram rolled out support for Insights for Reels and Live to help developers and businesses get better. The company said it is doing this to enable developers and businesses to understand how their content is performing.
For Reels, for example, Instagram shows new metrics, including games, accounts reached, likes, comments, saves and shares. In terms of Lives, the app shows achieved accounts, concurrent simultaneous viewers, comments and approvals.
