NEW DELHI: Smartphone manufacturer Realme is ready to start that Realme 8 5G Smartphone in Thailand. The company has confirmed that it will launch the device on April 21st. However, before the official launch, the company has tested some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
Realme Thailand posted a teaser video of the phone on its social media channels. The shared teaser revealed that the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.5-inch hole-punch display and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The teaser also revealed that the SIM card tray is on the left side of the smartphone.
Another teaser of the Relame 8 5G confirms that it will be 8.5 mm thin and 185 grams in weight.
The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right and a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom.
The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will contain a 5000 mAh battery.
The smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor and is available in the color options Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue.
Realme 8 5G was also recently spotted on the Google Play console list, which revealed that the smartphone is running the Android 11 operating system, which comes with the proprietary layer of the Realme user interface.
The smartphone should also have a triple rear-view camera with a 48 MP main sensor with 1: 1.8 aperture, 2 MP black and white and 2 MP macro sensor with 1: 2.4 aperture. There is an 8MP selfie sensor on the front.
Realme is expected to launch the same smartphone in India soon. Recently, Flipkart teased the launch of Realme 8 5G in India, but the company has yet to confirm a launch date.
