OnePlus, BBK’s own consumer electronics brand, will expand its smart TV offering in India next week.
The company will launch a new smart TV in its Y-seres range on May 24th. The start is planned for May 24th.
On its website, the company announced that the device will be called OnePlus TV 40Y1, which means it has a screen size of 40 inches.
The website also reveals some key specs for the upcoming OnePlus TV and confirms that it will be powered by a 64-bit processor and will continue to run Android TV 9-based OxygenPlay. The 40-inch screen offers a FullHD screen resolution and offers 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and the Gamma Engine image enhancer.
Buyers get a built-in Chromecast, as well as Alexa and Google Assistant. The Smart TV from OnePlus offers two 20 W speakers with Dolby Audio support and has an Ethernet port, an RF connection input and two HDMI Connections, an AV input, a digital audio output and two USB Ports.
OnePlus also tweeted about it on its official Twitter account. The picture shows that the OnePlus TV 40Y1 will be available offline through OnePlus stores as well as OnePlus.in and Flipkart.com.
OnePlus’ Y series of Android TVs is an affordable range of smart TVs. The company currently sells two models in the series – OnePlus TV 32Y1 and OnePlus TV 43Y1 – priced at 15,999 and 26,999 rupees, respectively.
