The Oppo A53’s 5G smartphone will launch in India on April 27 and will cost less than 15,000 rupees

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo is ready to launch another affordable 5G smartphone in India. The company has confirmed that it does the Oppo A53s 5G Smartphone in the country on April 27th.
Aside from the launch date, Oppo has also confirmed that the price of the smartphone will be under Rs 15,000. This means the Oppo A53s 5G will be cheaper than the company’s recently launched Oppo A74 5G smartphone.
Oppo has also confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. This is the same processor Realme used in their recently introduced Realme 8 5G. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Flipkart.
The phone’s teaser image shared by Oppo shows that the handset will be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple rear-view camera.
Rumor has it that the Oppo A53s are the rebranded version of the Oppo A55 smartphone that the company recently launched in China.
Oppo A53s 5G expected specs
The Oppo A53s 5G is said to be equipped with a 6.5-inch HD + display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The Android 11 operating system, which is equipped with the company’s own ColorOS 11 adjustment level, is expected to run on the smartphone.
The Oppo A53s 5G smartphone is said to offer dual SIM functionality and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor attached to the side. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It is expected to offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Oppo A53s 5G is said to have a triple rear camera with a 13MP main sensor with a f / 2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor with a f / 2.4 aperture and a 2MP portrait camera with a f / 2.4 aperture. The device is also expected to come with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with a f / 2.0 aperture.
The Oppo A53s 5G is expected to be supported by a 5000 mAh battery.
