NEW DELHI: Smartphone manufacturer Asus recently launched its newest gaming smartphone – ROG Phone 5 – in India. Following this rollout, the company cut the price on the ROG Phone 3 that it launched last year. The ROG Phone 3 has received a second price cut in India. Last year the smartphone price fell by 3,000 rupees.
The company has now lowered the price for 8 GB of RAM and 12 GB variants of the smartphone again. The price for the 8 GB RAM version is reduced by Rs 5,000. Previously sold for Rs 45,999, you can now purchase the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage options for Rs 41,999.
On the other hand, the version with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage got a price drop of Rs 10,000 and now customers can get it for Rs 45,999.
Asus ROG phone 3 Specifications
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a 6.5-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display has a refresh rate of 144 Hz with a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz and a touch latency of 25 ms. It is protected by Corning Gorilla 6 and can reach a peak brightness of 1000nits. It is 113% DCI-P3 Delta E color calibrated.
The gaming smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with an Adreno 650 GPU. The smartphone is available in two versions: 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory and 12 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory. The Android 10 operating system, which is equipped with the company’s own level of the ROG user interface, runs on the handset.
