NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company that owns the rights to sell and manufacture Nokia Branded smartphones revealed the complete roadmap for the Android 11 Update for Nokia smartphones. The company kept its promise and started rolling out Android 11. So far, Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 2.3, and Nokia 2.4 have received the Android 11 update.
However, it appears that the company has made some changes to the Android 11 roadmap. According to the revised roadmap, Nokia smartphone users will have to wait longer to experience Android 11 on their smartphones. The revised roadmap shows that not all Nokia phones will receive an Android 11 update in the second quarter of 2021.
The company has now announced that the Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 9 Pureview will receive the Android 11 update in the third quarter of 2021. This means that Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 9 Pureview users will now have to wait longer to test Android 11 on their devices.
Last month, HMD Global announced new smartphones as part of three new series. The company today announced the Nokia X-Series, G-Series and C-Series. While the X-Series is the most powerful of the range, the G-Series and C-Series are mid-range and entry-level offerings.
Each series contains two handsets, marking the introduction of six new smartphones – Nokia X20, Nokia X10, Nokia G20, Nokia G10, Nokia C20 and Nokia C10.
