Microblogging website Twitter is ready to keep you updated on election-related news. Twitter is taking steps to ensure that people have conversations that are healthy, open, and safe.
Search queries
In cooperation with the Twitter, Twitter has introduced a function for search queries Electoral Commission of India and state election commissions. The feature makes it easy to find credible and authoritative information on candidate lists, voting dates, voting booths, EVM voter registration and other election-related topics.
To get the latest updates from the prompts, you can do the following:
On the app:
-Click the Explore tab
-Type in and enter an election-related keyword or query in the search option above
– A prompt to get the latest updates will appear. Click it for real-time, credible updates on important topics
On the desktop
-To home page
-Type in and enter an election-related keyword or query in the search option at the top right
– A prompt to get the latest updates will appear. Click it for real-time, credible updates on important topics
Item prompts
This feature prompts users for thought before tweeting or retweeting articles they read and didn’t read. If you haven’t read the article, the service may ask you if you want to open it first.
– If you select the “Retweet” option from a tweet with a link, Twitter will check whether the article was clicked or not.
-When you see the prompt, always have the option to tweet again
How to hide answers on Tweets
Twitter lets you choose the replies to your Tweets that you want to be visible and hide the ones that you don’t want to be noticed. People can see and interact with hidden replies by tapping the gray icon that appears on the Tweets. This is how it works:
-For a reply to any of your tweets, click the list icon
-Select Hide Answer and Confirm.
– To view your hidden replies, click or tap on the hidden replies icon available at the bottom right of your original tweet.
