Vodafone idea has announced that it will offer its low-income user base a free Rs 49 package and a new RC79 combo coupon. The move is designed to help these users stay connected during the ongoing second wave of the pandemic.
The Rs 49 package offers Rs 38 and 100MB worth of talk time and is valid for 28 days. The RC79 combination voucher worth Rs 128 (64 + 64) offers the advantage of double the talk time and 200 MB of data with a validity of 28 days for a limited period of time.
“As a special gesture with this unique offer VIL will provide benefits worth up to Rs.2,940 million to users of low-income groups in the country, “the telecommunications company said in a statement, adding that it will benefit 60 million low-income users.
Vodafone Idea’s offerings follow similar offers from Trust Jio and Bharti Airtel. The two telecommunications companies recently released similar offers for their low-income subscriber base.
Airtel has announced that it will offer its 5.5 million low-income customers a free recharge package of 49 rupees. In addition, customers who purchase the top-up voucher for Rs 79 will get twice as many perks as the company.
