The company has now announced that it will add more payment options for apps and subscriptions in Google play.
Google has announced it will add prepaid plans for the Play Store. This means that Google Play Store will shortly allow users to access content for a specified period of time.
This means that users have the option to use an app for a limited time instead of buying it once and keeping it forever. Of course, the first option is expected to be cheaper than the latter.
This is essentially a subscription-based model that gives the user the flexibility to decide how long they want to use the app.
In addition, Google has announced that it will launch multi-line subscriptions that allow developers to sell multiple products as part of a single subscription.
The company added 34 new local payment methods in 30 markets in 2020 to expand developer reach and lower minimum prices for paid apps, in-app purchases and subscriptions in 20 new markets in Latin America, EMEA and APAC.
Google I / O 2021 is a three-day event that began on May 18. One day the company unveiled its Android 12 operating system, along with the Wear OS update and a slew of new features available on Google platforms like Maps and Search, Photos, and more.
