NEW DELHI: Twitter improves the user experience by introducing new and interesting features. The microblogging website has now started introducing an interesting Tip Jar feature. Available to both Android and iOS With this new feature, users can send money straight to their favorite accounts.
To use the Tip Glass feature, all you need to do is tap the recently added dollar bill icon located next to the account holder’s username. On the other hand, users can also toggle the tip glass feature, which means they can turn it off if they don’t want the money.
According to Twitter, Android users can send money in Twitter’s clubhouse rival Spaces.
In an official blog post, Twitter said, “Starting today, anyone who uses Twitter in English will be able to post tips to their Twitter accounts for iOS and Android. Currently, a limited group of people around the world can use Twitter in English Add Tip Jar to their profile and accept tips. This group includes creators, journalists, experts, and nonprofits. ”
Twitter’s Tip Jar feature also supports multiple payment options like PayPal, Venmo, Bandcamp, and others. As mentioned above, the feature is currently only available to limited users, but will be expanded to other accounts soon.
Recently, Twitter announced that from now on, users will no longer see cropped images on the social network. The new Twitter feature is available for both Android and iOS and has full-size image support.
To remember, Twitter users had to crop the image they wanted to add to a tweet in 16: 9 format. However, with this new feature, Twitter users don’t have to crop the images they want to upload.
