NEW DELHI: Xiaomi has launched its most expensive smartphone to date in India. The smartphone called Mi 11 Ultra has a ceramic design that gives it a premium look. The Mi 11 Ultra is also the first Xiaomi smartphone to be launched in India with protection class IP68 and which makes the handset waterproof.
Another innovation in the smartphone is the dual display. This is Xiaomi’s first dual display phone. The Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.81-inch main display and a 1.1-inch secondary display on the back.
The MI 11 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and competes against the Samsung S21 Ultra, Vivo X60 Pro +, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The company used Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on both the front and back of the smartphone to give it a sturdy build. The Mi 11 Ultra is available in two color options – white and black.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes with a price tag of Rs 69,999. The smartphone is expected to go on sale soon, although the company has yet to reveal the exact date. It has already been confirmed that the smartphone will be available online Amazon India and mi.com websites.

The high-end Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.81-inch WQHD + main display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The smartphone also has a 1.1-inch secondary display on the back. The main display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and the display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Android 11 operating system, which is equipped with the company’s own MIUI 12 layer, runs on the dual SIM smartphone. The company has also confirmed that this smartphone will receive an Android R update. The flagship smartphone is powered by the most powerful octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with 12 GB of RAM
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has a triple rear camera consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with 1: 1.95 aperture, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 1: 2.2 aperture and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens up to 12x digital zoom. The rear view camera can record 8K videos at 24 frames per second and 4K videos at 60 and 30 frames per second. There is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f / 2.3 on the front. Thanks to the secondary display, users can also take selfies with the rear camera.
The smartphone is equipped with a built-in fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. The handset also has stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon.
The Mi 11 Ultra is supported by a 5000 mAh battery with 67 W fast charge support. The smartphone also offers wireless reverse charging capabilities.
