Xiaomi: Xiaomi may soon launch 3 tablets with Snapdragon 800 series

Chinese technology company Xiaomi You may be preparing to launch 3 new tablets as indicated by some leaks on the @xiaomiui Twitter account. The three models are said to have the code names “Enuma”, “Elish” and “Nabu” with the model numbers K81, K81A and K82. The new tablets are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series chipsets and will be launched under the MiPad brand.
According to the claims, the tablets will have 120 Hz refresh rate displays with a resolution of 2560 x 800 pixels and a brightness of 410 nits. The Enuma and Elish tablets are powered by Snapdragon 870, the leaker claims. That said, Nabu gets a lower chipset (SD 860) and is the most cost-effective of them all. All of them would run MIUI based on Android right away.

The tablet with the code name “Enuma” is said to be equipped with a 48-megapixel rear view camera, while the other two models have 12-megapixel rear view cameras. All three tablets are said to be equipped with a quad rear view camera, which has an ultrawide lens, a macro lens and a depth camera.
Some of the other features that are said to come with the tablets are NFC, quad speakers, wireless charging, and ultra-fast charging. The tablets are expected to arrive in the home country first.
All three tablets should launch under the Mi Pad line, run MIUI based on Android immediately, and launch in China first before a global release.
The Android tablet market is currently dominated by Samsung mostly with Lenovo, Huawei and honor are the other players. With Huawei it is booted from the Google Due to the US sanction, people who want to buy an Android tablet have few options but one Samsung tablet, Lenovo be one of them. Xiaomi with its inexpensive products is popular in Asian markets such as India. When it launches a new line of tablets, customers will have more options to choose from.
